What happens
Step by step
- 1An assessment, records (photos, scans or moulds), and a plan reviewed with you and your child.
- 2Fitting of fixed braces or handover of the first set of clear aligners, with full instructions.
- 3Scheduled check-ins to adjust braces, or to issue the next set of aligners.
- 4A retention plan once treatment is complete, to hold the new position.
What your child will feel
Some pressure or soreness for a few days after fitting or each adjustment, settling with normal eating.
